Beading isn't as easy as it use to be with a toddler running around the house, but I've been trying to make more time for myself and for beading. Both my husband and I have been trying to get our lives a little more structured so we can get back to being creative. We are both very creative people, so not making things with our hands has been difficult. So we're both making time for both of use to do some creative things every week.
That being said, I do have a new beaded item to share.
I got this little tube at work, it was filled with mints to advertise some sort of lab thing. You know, everyone associates mints with lab work. I don't know. But I loved the little container as soon as I saw it and I knew I had to bead on it.
So I grabbed some beads and off I went. I used a bunch of beads that I has small amounts of. Leftovers from past projects. They were perfect for this little project. This was actually the first little bead project I started after my daughter was born (I'm just now getting photos of it). It was a nice little project to get started with.
I'm think about redoing the top because I'm not super happy with it, but other than that, I think I'm done with it. Just simple.
I cannot say this enough, I am in love with these little bottles. I have a whole case of these little guys and I cannot wait to bead all of them. They are a pretty fun project when I don't really have a lot of time to bead, especially the one I'm working on now.
I decided to just not have a plan and go. I opened up my bead soup and just went with it. I beaded with what ever color, shape, or size I grabbed. I let the beads speak to me. I don't do a lot of free form beading, but when I do, I enjoy it immensely.
I really like it. It has a great sunken treasure, sea being feel to it. It's fun to hold in your hand and touch. I can't believe I love this little guys so much. I'm hoping to get some more photos of this guy done so I can get it up on Etsy.
Just a girl that loves to bead, take photos, and cuddle with her new baby and her pug.
