I had these big plans to get all my jewelry moved over to my new Etsy Shop before the holidays, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. I have about 75% moved over, but I don't see me finishing up before the end of this week. So I'm going to keep all my jewelry in my main Three Fates Etsy Shop for now and after the holidays are over, I'll open the second shop. I was really excited about the new shop, and I still am, but with all the craziness that is going on, it will have to wait until next year. But I will still be having a Black Friday sale, so make sure to check back to see how you can save on all your beady needs. I'll be announcing that sale next week. And don't forget, shopping handmade this holiday season doesn't just support the artist. It helps them pay for school, for their family to go to the doctor, for food to be purchased, and gives them the ability to get gifts for their loved ones. It is so much more than just a small purchase. So shop handmade this year.
Check out my holiday gift guide. It's filled with all kinds of holiday ideas for all your loved ones. There are new items listed all the time, so check it out often. Fill your life and the life of others with some beady goodness this year! Buy handmade!
'Where did this year go? I'm serious, I feel like it was just New Years. How can it be the Holidays already? I'm sure everyone is feeling that way right now. It's just crazy.
This year was a busy year for me and my family. We celebrated our daughter's first birthday. We remodeled a basement room into a speak easy (crazy I know). We finally went on our belated honeymoon (we just got back and miss beautiful Mexico already). I had my first craft show in a few years (it was a bust, but at least I got back in the swing of things). We go to celebrate our best friends' weeding. It was a great year. But now it's getting cold outside and it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas. About family gatherings and friends you haven't seen all year. It's time for hearty soups and hot cocoa. Mittens and warm hearths. Oh the holidays. It's also time to start shopping for Christmas gifts. I just want to remind everyone this year to buy local and handmade. You're not just buying an independent artist's work. You're making it possible for them to continue doing what they love, to pay their mortgage, and get gifts for their loved ones. It means the world to us artists when people give our items as gifts. I will be having a holiday sale soon, so check back to get more details on that. If you are interested in having something custom made, shoot me a message and I'll work with you to make something completely unique and special (don't forget most custom orders take at least 4 weeks to complete). Stop by my Etsy Shop for new goodies and great gifts. |
