First up are these absolutely adorable Valentine's Day cards form InklingPaperie. They are customizable, so you can write any secret message your little heart desires on them. I love them and I know you will too!
Next up is this adorable print from ChicorySkies. I love the colors on this print and I love the idea of take as much as you need. Don't we all need a tree like this from time to time?
How about getting your loved one a huge snuggly blanket from ChunkyWoolStudio this year? You can both snuggle up under this together.
Get that special someone a set of these amazing aroma therapy candles from meganspantry. They will help them relax and unwind from a stressful day. Who wouldn't love that?
If you are looking for something a bit more unusual, and you love to crochet, you can make this little heart from FayniToys. I would be over the moon if I got this little poison heart from somone!
And what about this great felt garland from MatthewAndMae? You probably already know, I'm a sucker for any garland and this garland has my heart.
I am also in love with this pillow from SweetHooligansDesign. It's so simple and so pretty it would look amazing on anyone's couch. The perfect little Valentine's Day touch.
I love these string art hearts from KnottedBug. They would look adorable up on a shelf or they would make an amazing gift for that special someone.
I'm adding one more amazing crochet pattern to the list, but look at this beautiful anatomical heart pattern from DragonbirdCreations. It's amazing. I have no other words for it.
And finally, we can't forget the kidos. These special heart necklaces from isewcute would make any little one smile (or anyone really).
So those are a few of my favorite finds on Etsy. If you want to see all my favorite just click HERE. I also share a lot of my favorites on my Twitter account, so if you're not following over there, swing on by.

I have been doing a bunch of tutorials over the last few weeks, so I thought we could mix it up a bit today. You can check out my tutorials HERE, HERE, and HERE if you are interested. But let's get back to the topic at hand. It is my birthday month, so I’ve been eyeing up Etsy and all it’s goodies. You know, for some super sneaky suggestions I’ll make to hubby (and by sneaky, I mean I’ll just show him what I want, haha).
This article includes affiliate links from Etsy. That just means that I get a little fee if you click on the link or purchase something and no additional cost to you. That little fee helps me keep writing these articles. All my opinions are my own. I am featuring these products because I love them.
So what have I been longing over on Etsy? Oh so many things, but I had to narrow it down a bit. It was hard because there are so many amazing things on Etsy. So let’s take a look at my top faves right now.
First off we have this adorable necklace. This little guy is on every list I make because I love him so much. I bought one for my friend when she finished her PhD, and she loved it. It was so well made and just a perfect little necklace. So I keep hinting that I would sure love one of these guys (especially with my love of SUE). Maybe I’ll just grab one for myself this year. I think I’m worth it.
I also am really loving this guy. Oh my look at him. I would absolutely love this guy. First off I have this weird thing about glass. If something is glass, I must have it. The amount of glass things I own is obsurde, but I’m getting off topic here. Who wouldn’t love a little Nessy? That little face is adorable. This is definitely high up on my list of desires.
Next I’ve been on the hunt for some amazing citrus soap. I bought some years ago and I loved how fresh it smelled, now I want to fill my showers with more of that. This soap looks like it would fit the bill. I’m all for a luxurios soap for relaxing in the tub (if that actually ever happens). I know this soap is very high up on my list of birthday wants.
I have also been pining over everything from this designer. I love everything they have in their shop. I really love the Sugar Skull earrings. They also have a matching ring, so you know, it would make a perfect set for someone’s birthday (hint, hint hubby). Everything in this shop is beautiful so everything would make an amazing gift.
I, of course, have some beaders goodies on my list. I’m always looking for a good bead organizer. I have quite a few and I love them all. Aaaand they are all full because I always have a million projects going. This organizer looks great. It has a lot of little sections for those super colorful projects and I love that each section is labeled with a letter so you never forget what color is what. This is very high up on my list.
I also have an absolutely amazing pattern on my list. Look at this very cool Nightmare Before Christmas beaded star! I love NBC and I love beading, so it’s a perfect match. I have both of the SW patterns from this great designer and they are really fantastic. So I know this one will be just as amazing.
So those are my top birthday picks. All amazing and would all make great gifts for anyone you know that’s special to you (I wonder if my husbands even reads my blog? He should.). What are some of your favorites on Etsy? I’d love to see what you are pining over. Leave a comment below with your favorites.

I always have such a hard time picking handmade goodies for my gift guides. There are so many amazing artists and creators out there that I want to support and share all of them. So that's why I always to two parts to my Etsy gift guides. Twice as many goodies for everyone. If you haven't checked out Part 1, head on over and give that a looksie.

There is no need to go out and mingle with the crowds this year (you don't want to any way). You can do all your shopping from the comfort of your own couch. So let's get cozy with a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and let's support some small handmade businesses.
You know it's getting colder out there every day. The wind is blowing and the snow is coming. So let's start with some super comfy and cozy gifts you can give.
I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this cowl from Plush Amour, It is everything I desire this time of year. It's colorful. It's cozy. It's warm. It's amazing. I know you have someone on your gift list that would ecstatic to open up their gift and find this cowl inside.
While we are talking about comfy and cozy, let's talk about these hand knitted sock from Cozy LT. Oh my, look at these beautiful socks. My feet are begging for these pretties and I know you have someone on you list that desires them just as much as me.
Okay, one more comfy, cozy item before me move on. Look at this adorable sheep blanket from Kellys Knit Boutique. It would make the most wonderful gift for that new baby in the family. It is soft and charming and the best part, you can customize the color of the blanket. How incredible is that?
Speaking of gifts for the little ones, how amazing would these custom crayons from Art 2 The Extreme be?!? I know any little artist would be over the moon for these. These are stunning. They are colorful and personalized and crayons. Surprise that kidlette on your list this year with something super special.
I don't know what to say about this fabulous cup from From Fran. I have never seen anything like it. It's wonderful. The colors are such a pretty pastel rainbow and the gold accents are stunning. This is truly a unique gift for that unique person on your gift list.
We are all spending a lot more time at home and a lot of us are doing much (if not all) our our work from home. So why not get that guy on your list a cool leather mouse pad from Wilhelm and Friends. This beautiful handmade mouse pad is customizable, which is a perfect touch for a wonderful gift.
Do you have someone on your list that just bought a house this year? Or maybe someone that got married this past summer? Why not get them a customized Christmas tree ornament from Tiny Buffalo Designs Co. I love that these are made on wood slices and the illustration is so cute. *Side note, it's too late to order this as a gift for Christmas, but they do have gift certificates available.*
And we all have that fuzzy friend on our list. Get them something super stylish from Gabe Jade Accessories. I fell in love with this bandana the first time I saw it (as well as with this little pupper). They have so many patterns to pick from, you'll find something for every animal on your list. They also have a bunch of human accessories too, so you can look as good as your doggo (seriously, everything in their shop is so beautiful).
I got a pair of these earrings as a gift and I can say I love them. They are very stylish and look good with every outfit. They are made with recycled leather, which I love so much. The geometric design is one of my favorites of all time. These amazing earrings from Addorness Jewelry would make the perfect gift (I know, I got mine as a gift).
And finally I'm sure a lot of us will be skipping the holiday parties. That means we will not be able to see all the people we usually see this time of year. So why not send them a super special holiday card this year. This cute taco card from Night Owl Paper Goods would put a smile on anyone's face. So get out those fancy pens and those special stamps and send a fancy cards to all your friends and family.
So those are some of my favorite handmade goodies. There are so many ridiculously talented makers out there that it's hard for me to just pick a few. If you want to check out some of my other favorites visit my favorite gift ideas as well as my favorite holiday decorations. You can also check out all of Etsy's Gift guides, like Gifts for Her and Gifts for Him.

I cannot believe the holidays snuck up on me so quickly. Last thing I remember I was sitting outside enjoying the hot sun. Now I am waking up to frost covering everything and I know the winter winds are coming. Which means it is time to start picking out holiday gifts. Check out part 2 here for more gift ideas

I have been checking out all the amazing finds on Etsy to fill all those holidays wishes. There are so many extraordinary finds that I don't even know where to start. The best part, a lot of shops on Etsy are taking part in Black Fridays deals and other holiday sales. So you can support small handmade businesses even if you are a little strapped for cash right now (which most of us fall into that category).
So, where do I begin? I guess I'll just begin with some amazing décor for around the house. Beautiful handmade items that I fell in love with the second I saw them.
First up I want to show you these amazing ceramic Christmas trees from Mud & Maker. I saw these and just fell in love with them. Do you normally go for a rustic look? These would make the perfect addition to your Christmas décor. Do you love ceramics? They are amazing beautiful and would look great on your mantel. These are great and you should own some.
If you have ever visited my blog before and ever perused one of my gift guides before, you know I have a thing for garland. I love it. I have no idea why, all I know is I think it is amazing and I want to put it all over my house. And this handmade garland from The Blushish Fig is no different. They have wonderful handmade felt garland in every color combination you can think of. You like traditional, they have it. You like funky, they have it. Get your self some garland and enjoy!
But how about a super cute ornament for that tree of yours? Look at this adorable ornament form Nevada Knits. This would look great on your tree, and if you have a loved one that is into knitting, this would make an absolute perfect gift for them. They don't just offer adorable Christmas ornaments either, their shop is filled with amazing knit items. It's hard for me to pick a favorite.
Next is this amazing stocking pattern. Do you need something to keep you busy right now? Are you looking to make someone a very unique handmade gift? Why not pick up this great pattern from The Cheswick Company and make a whale stocking. I know that I would feel so very special if someone made this for me. Don't like whales (really, who doesn't like whales)? That's okay, they have other patterns and even some patterns for tree skirts as well.
Now tell me that this holiday pillow from W. Francis Design is not one of the cutest things you have ever seen. I saw this and just though, yeah, I need that. It's so cute and quirky and it would look superb with all my other cute and quirky holiday pillows. And if you love cute and quirky like me, you'll love this pillow cover.
Like most adults women, I have an unhealthy love for candles. And I cannot pass up a holiday scented candle to save my life. I have so many holiday candles it's not even funny. This great soy candle from A to Z Candles is top on my list of favorites because peppermint is my scent of choice. If you are not a fan of peppermint, that is okay. They have so many scents that sound so amazing, you will definitely find something you will love.
I'm also madly in love with this charming wreath by Marquis Weaves. I'm really digging on anything wool right now, so this wreath is right up my alley. The wool just screams to be touched and any room just feels warmer with one of these wreaths in it. I adore this.
I love the idea of mistletoe hanging in the house, but the idea of having real mistletoe in the house scares me a bit (it's toxic to dogs). So this felt version from The Winding Vine is an absolutely perfect substitution. It can be used over and over again, so it's great for the environment, and it looks so pleasing in any room. Check out the variety of felt plants they have to offer and you're sure to find something to please you.
There are just so many amazing handmade holiday items on Etsy it's always so hard for me to pick just a handful, but you can check out some more of my favorites HERE. I'm constantly adding things every time I find something that I think you can't live without (because I can't live without it). You know that I'll be doing a second part to this list filled with gift ideas later this week (look for it on Wednesday), so check back then to see some of my favorite goodies.
If you can't wait until then, you can check out some of these other gift guides. Like if you are looking for gifts for that certain furry friend, check out this collection. And if you are looking for gifts under $30, check out this collection. There are so many great handmade items on Etsy, you'll be able to find everything you're looking for this year and support handmade small businesses.

I cannot believe it is that time again. It is the holidays already. I just seems like this crazy year was just getting started yesterday. Oh to think back at how the beginning of the year was so carefree and how crazy we were. Just shaking hands and eating in restaurants like we did have a care in the world. Oh, those were the days. But it is November, which means we only have a little time left with 2020, and that means it is time for the gift giving season.

I have been perusing Amazon Handmade to find some of the best holidays goodies for you and your loved ones. Things that are special and crafted by small businesses with love and passion. Things that are as unique as the people in your life. Things that say "I miss you and I wish we could celebrate together."
Treat Yourself (and your loved ones)
Like I said before, it has been a year like no other. It has been both long and short. I honestly feel like the summer slipped through my fingers even though we spent more time outside and at the lake then we ever have. But I also feel like it has dragged on and on and I am wishing for a tropical getaway because I haven't had a break at all this year. How about you? Dreaming of that getaway where you don't have a worry in the world? Well, we cannot travel yet, but we can find some amazing handmade goodies to enjoy a little mini getaway at home. Or maybe you know someone, like a frontline worker, that needs to just have a night of relaxation. Check out some of my favorite goodies to achieve just that.
Cozy Thoughtful Gifts
It's getting cold out there. The snow will start falling. Maybe you woke up to frost on the cars and grass this morning, so you know that winter is just around the corner. Why not pick up some comfy, cozy gifts for everyone on your list?
Gifts for the Kids
Everyone has a kid or two on their holiday gift, why not get them something special and handmade as well. Start teaching them about supporting small business and get them some thing really cool they will enjoy!
Around the House
Do you have someone on your list that loves to bake ? Or maybe loves to entertain (if we can ever do that again)? What about that one person that collect mugs (who doesn't have that friend)? Well there are so many handmade goodies for them, you'll have a hard time picking something, I know I did.
So there are some of my top pick from Amazon Handmade. I had so many and it was so hard to narrow down just a few items to feature. My list is so much longer than this, and if I have time before the holidays, I might do a second Amazon Handmade gift list. Because as I'm doing my own handmade shopping this year, I'm finding so many new awesome shops and awesome products.
What are some of your favorite Amazon Handmade goodies? Any products or shops that you think are just divine? Share them with me in the comments below. I'm always on the lookout for an amazing handmade shop.

It's almost that time of year. Time to get dressed up in those costumes. Watch those scary movies. Gorge yourself on little tiny candy bars (no judgement here). It's almost HALLOWEEN! This is my favorite time of year. I know, I've said that before, but I mean it. I love everything about it. I love that we get to be anything we like. And who doesn't love a good scare. But if you kinda forgot that spooky time is coming up, that's okay there is still time to get those last minute Halloween goodies.
This article includes affiliate links from Amazon. That just means that I get a little fee if you click on the link or purchase something and no additional cost to you. That little fee helps me keep writing these articles. All my opinions are my own. I am featuring these products because I love them.
I've made a list of my favorite last minute Halloween goodies. There is everything from carving pumpkins, to decorating the house, to dressing up. It's just a little list of things that you can still get before Halloween and still enjoy the spooky season this year.
First let's talk about pumpkins. Carving them in particular. I've carved a lot of pumpkins in my life time. I've carved ones that were big enough for me to crawl in. I've carved little ones. I've painted some. I've even carved some on a Mexican beach while sipping fruity drinks (that was quite the Halloween).
I would recommend not getting a kit that has those tiny little plastic tools in them. Last year we broke all of them and had to do a late night run to Walgreens to get some more. The plastic ones just don't hold up well, so if you're going to do any sort of carving, then go with more substantial tools. Trust me, they will just make the pumpkin carving go a lot smoother and be a lot more enjoyable.
Once you got your tools, you'll have to decide what you are going to carve on the pumpkin. You can go with your own designs if you are artsy. We usually do a few that we made up the designs for (we carve a lot of pumpkins each year).
But if you are not creative enough to design your own designs, that's okay. There are lots of free patterns out there. Just do a quick search on Pinterest and a million patterns will come up.
You can also go the route of a stencil book. There are so many different designs out there, you will have a hard time picking one.
Money saving tip - We normally pick up some stencil books after Halloween when they are on clearance. Then next year we have a bunch to pick from. Check you local stores a day or two after Halloween and see what they have.
So you have your pumpkin carved, but you've decided you want to spruce up the place and give it a little bit more of that spooky vibe. Let's talk decorations for inside your house.
The easiest thing you can do to Halloween up you house is to put up some lights. We have lights everywhere, maybe even more than what we have for Christmas. And you can get some of the cutest little lights. We have little purple bats on our wreath on our little spooky tree in our little spooky town. We have purple light all over.
You don't need to put them in the windows (though they look good there too), you can put them anywhere. We have lights hanging in our kitchen because why not.
And if you're looking for a few decorations to put around the house, you can go with something out of the ordinary like this awesome monster plant. It lights up and everything, and who doesn't love things that light up.
Or maybe get these great pictures that look normal when you look at them, but they look spooky when you move to the side. Just think about if you mixed these in with the pictures you already have on the wall. How spooky would that be if someone was looking at your family photos and then, BAM, spooky time.
Don't think you just have to do classic Halloween. You can use things like these beautiful candles. You could use them year round, but mixed in with some other spooky things, they would make for a beautiful Halloween addition.
And let's not forget my absolute favorite decoration of them all. Wall bats. I put bats up on my wall every single year and I've been doing that for years.
I made them myself. I just cut out some bat shapes in black cardstock. I use the poster putty stuff to stick them to the wall. They look awesome and I get so many compliments. Mine took forever to make because I cut them by hand, but I've seen lots of patterns out there for the lucky people that have Silhouettes.
And if you don't have a Silhouette or if you don't want to cut out some bats by hand, you can always buy some. Get some awesome bats for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
And if you have time or energy, you can still get some decorations for outside. It's going to start snowing here this week, so I won't be out there putting up any more decorations. But if you have the energy and maybe live where it's a little bit warmer, here are a few ideas for you.
I'm not a big fan of the fake spider webs outside because birds and other little animals can get stuck in them. But this big spider web is kinda cool. The web is made of larger material and comes with two big spiders and it comes with the smaller, wispy web, but you don't need to use that. You can just use the larger material and make yourself a big scary spider web. How neat would this look in a yard?
I'm also in love with these skeleton lights. They are solar powered so you don't have to worry about how you are going to plug them in. You can put them anywhere you would like in your yard.
And maybe you are not that into spooky and you're looking for something that is a little cuter. How about his amazing skeleton unicorn? My daughter say this and lost it. She wants to put it in the house year round.
And let's not forget about dressing up. I know that a lot of use aren't going out this year, but that doesn't mean you can't dress up. Even if you are just handing our candy or like us, just having a candy hunt in the backyard, I think getting dressed up is going to super special this year.
I'm currently working on putting on the finishing touches to my daughters and mine Halloween costumes. She wants to be a capuchin monkey. Which is turning out so cute. If you're not into making your own costume, there is still plenty of time to buy one. Check out any of your local stores and I'm sure they will have some. If you don't want to go into a store, these are still available online.
You're staying home. You're not handing out candy. You're just watching scary movies with the family. Why not be comfy and dress up? Try a cozy onesie costume. They come in so many different style, there is one to surely meet your preferences.
Maybe you're looking for some thing a little bit more dressy than a onesie, how about this Halloween suit? I got this exact one for my husband and he loves it. I can see it become a staple on Halloween.
And how about going all out with you costume. Ge some thing super spooky. Just wear it around the house even if it's only you. Trust me, it will be fun.
Don't worry, there is still time to get a costume for your little one too. Maybe your neighborhood is doing safe trick or treating and kids need something to wear. There are still a lot of costumes, from spooky to cute, availabe to order.
So Halloween might be this weekend, but there is still time for you to spooky up your house and get something to wear. I know that things are different this year, but that doesn't mean we can celebrate Halloween at all.
What are you doing for Halloween? Are your plans changing this year? Do you have a favorite Halloween tradition or decoration or costume? Let me know below in the comments.

If you know me, you know I love Halloween. Okay, let me rephrase that, I LOVE HALLOWEEN. It is my favorite holiday and there is nothing I love more than dressing up and decorating the house this type of year. And since we will be celebrating at home this year, that means I’ll have to up my decorating game. So today I'm going to share with you some of my favorite Halloween goodies! This is part 2 of my awesome Halloween round up. Check out part 1 HERE for some awesome decore for in and around your house!

I wasn't able to include everything I love in these two blog posts, so if you would like to see all the things I love on Etsy, check out my Favorites.
This is a little bit of a long one, so let's get started. Costumes!
Okay, so I may or may not check out the all the amazing costumes on Etsy all the time. I mean there are some really impressive artists out there that create some of the most beautiful creations I've ever seen. So here are a few of my favorites.
Let's start with something so cute and so adorable, you have to love it.
BAT SUIT - BlamoToys
OMG, look at this little bat costume. I ma over here just going Squeeeeeeeee because I'm in love so much. This costume from Blamo Toys is unbelievable. And they have a large collection of costumes for kids and for adults. You'll find something perfect for you!
Okay, so this caught my eye immediately. I saw it and thought, I kinda want that.
This squirrel tail from Divendi is just absolutely amazing. And their shop is filled with some of the cutest things I've ever seen. I'm quite partial to anything hedgehog in their shop.
Okay, how about something that doesn't fall into cute and cuddly? Something that is a little bit creepy, a lot bit beautiful, and very relevant to the current times.
Look at this amazing plague doctor mask. It is completely customizable, including LED lights if you fancy. This mask from Higgins Creek is absolutely wonderful. They have a large variety of masks (including face masks), so if you need a beautiful mask for you costume this year (don't we all), check them out.
Let's not forget about our furry friends they need some love too!
Look at this! This is absolutely the cutes pen costume ever. I would work for a small dog or a cat (if they are cool with things like that). Who wouldn't love a piece of pie running around the house. Tickety Bootique is filled with amazing pen costumes and a big plus is you get to look at this gorgeous model.
Crafts
We're all staying home a lot more than we normally would, so why not spend that time working on some awesome crafts. Etsy is filled with amazing Halloween crafts for the whole family.
Let's start with something that I have been doing more and more of lately, embroidery.
This kit from Mipomipo Handmade is absolutely amazing! I love everything about, especially that it's a full kit with everything you need! And they have so many kits to pick from, I am having a hard time decided which one I want to start with.
Here is something else that stopped me in my tracks when I was perusing the spooky things.
I adore this little zen garden kit and the spooky vibes are all that and more. This kit from Dream Maker Craft is the perfect project this spooky season. Celebrate Halloween with a little zen in your life.
And of course I have something for all those beaders out there. You know I have a project (or a few projects) for you.
This is the Ultimate Halloween Peyote Stitch Set that can be found at Three Fates Design (that's me). It includes 12 patterns, 4 pen wrap patterns and 8 bracelet patterns (which also make awesome bookmarks). And all patterns in my shop come with a color graph, a word chart, a suggested list of colors, and a tips and tricks page. The perfect spooky collection for that witchy beader.
Everything Else
Here are a few other things that just knocked my socks off when I saw them!
Let's start with one of my favorite pass times (okay, I have a lot of hobbies, I know. I have a problem), baking!
I absolutely adore this rolling pin with the jack o lanterns on it from Make 8 Bake. What an awesome way to make cool spooky cookies. And since I am not professional cookie decorator, this is perfect for me.
I know this could go in the home décor section, but I love this little guy so much I had to share.
This little candle hold from Concrete and Copper Co is absolutely amazing. Actually everything in their shop is amazing. I had to include this because I think everyone should have one.
And what about adding some spookiness to your everyday look.
This beautiful silk scarf would be an amazing addition to your work outfit (you know the one were you only dress up from the waist up for that Zoom meeting). Everything by Klaradar is amazing.
Okay, I could go on forever and ever, but I need to stop somewhere. If you want to some more of my favorite spooky goodies, head over to my Etsy Favorites and check all the spooky goodness out.
So let me know what you think. Maybe you have an absolute favorite handmade Halloween goodie or maybe you make awesome Halloween stuff. Leave a comment below and let me know all your spooky thoughts.
