At the beginning of the year, I made a list of goals I wanted to accomplish. Things like list 400 patterns in my shop (maybe a little too ambitious) and make 300 sales (I'm over halfway there, so maybe I'll hit this goal). I wanted to clean up my studio and destash my beads and finished jewelry so I could set up my torch and melt glass again (I'm not so sure I'm going to hit this goal this year). But then March came around and so many things changed for so many of us. Like most people, my life was turned upside down. I became an essential employee and was the only one allowed in the lab for a few months. My daughter's daycare shut down. My husband had to work from home 100%. We didn't go to restaurants, stores, parties, etc. We didn't meet with friends or family. We hoped it would last a few weeks, maybe a month. It obviously didn't. And I don't see an end to this new way of life for a while. So obviously, my goals for the year changed. One of the things I want to focus on is my newsletter. I have met so many amazing people this year through my newsletter. In a time when I don't have a lot of human contact, building new relationships through beading has been amazing. So my first question to you is, have you signed up for my email newsletter? If not, click the link here and sign up today. I'd love for you to join the conversation. My second question for you is, what would you like to see in my newsletter? Would you like to see product reviews? Would you like to see some beady videos? How about some tips and tricks? Or something completely different? Please click below to take my one question (yup, only one question) survey, so I can get a better idea of what you would like to see in your inbox. Thank you, you're awesome! Enjoy the rest of your week and remember to wash those hands.
