Where did I go?
It's my birthday and I'm going to be, well maybe I won't share my age with everyone. But I will share a sale. Free shipping on everything in my Three Fates Design Etsy shop from now until the end of the month. That gives you 6 days to shop for that great Mother's Day gift. Or maybe just get yourself something special. Go ahead, you're worth it.
Last month I was so proud of myself. I blogged every single week for the whole month. This month? Nothing. Nada. Not a thing. What the hell? I have no excuses to give. I just got lazy. I did start focusing on a few other social media platforms, but other than that, I got nothing. But I plan on being better. I have worked out a social media calendar and I'm going to stick to it. I hope. I mean, I'm a big girl, I can do this.
So what amazing things have happened in the month that I went silent? Ummm, we got some of this.
Seriously. Last Week. April 16 and 18th. Almost a foot of snow. WTF. But don't worry it looks like this outside now
Yup. 70° and sunny. Go home Midwest, your drunk. I seriously question why I live here everyday during the winter. Oh how I long for warm weather and sun. And please ignore how bad my garden beds look, we had a foot of snow in them last week. But I digress. What else have I been up to?
Well I opened a second Etsy shop - Three Fates Art. All of my mixed media art will be going in there. So if you're interested in some cool beaded art, check it out today. I'm still working on a few things, so it's pretty bare bones, but I hope to have some new items listed soon!
I've also been working my little butt off on mastering Adobe Illustrator. I took some classes years ago and haven't done anything with it since. So when I opened it up last month, I had no idea what I was doing. But I'm slowly learning new stuff and becoming a master. Haha, okay, maybe not a master, but good.
That means, new logos. YAY! I will be rolling out my new logo soon. I'm so excited about it. I have been working hard (okay, not that hard) on it for a while and I'm almost ready to unveil it.
My increased knowledge of Illustrator also means some tutorials and kits on the horizon. I've been asked about it for a while and I'm finally getting around to it. So keep an eye out for that.
Well I guess I've bored any of you that have made it this far with a quick recap of the month of April. And as always don't forget to sign up for my newsletter.
